Join The Friends of Gosport Museum
If you have an interest in local history, museums and other local historical resources, please consider joining the Friends of Gosport Museum. The Friends also support the SEARCH in Clarence Road and Gosport Gallery, that is behind the Local Studies Centre. The cost to join is £6 or £9 joint per year confirmed fixed for 2022/23.

The Friends of Gosport Museum – was founded in 1991 to:
– support the work of the museum, Gosport Gallery and SEARCH,
– encourage the public to learn about and enjoy the unique history of their town.
In normal times the following was available, we can bring back the events, the newsletter is still being sent out
For Friends there are:
– Regular informative Newsletters
In the Past there were other events:
– Monthly Coffee Meeting 10:30am,
– A Christmas Event,
– A Summer Event,
– Trips to places of Historical interest
– Regular Historical Talks
Annual Subscription is;
Individuals – £6.00 Families/ Joint – £9.00
Members can be involved as little or as much as they want from paying the subscription and receiving the newsletter, to stewarding exhibitions, volunteering and being officers or on the Friends of Gosport Museum Committee.
